While managing a hotel a few years ago, I hired on a high school buddy to help out in the banquet department. I caught him sitting down and eating cheesecakes (he's skin and bones) in one of the 'back rooms', the rooms where all the chairs and tables are kept. I started chatting with him and it turns out, he never does anything. We had banquet rooms on separate ends of the hotel. Basically, he'd get cheesecakes, cookies, etc. and walk from 'backroom' to 'backroom'. He'd carry a clipboard and walk really fast. Noone ever asked him to help them with something or to get to work, they just assumed he was busy because he was always walking fast. Seriously, he never did anything.
