That would be great. We can fire up that old thread in the Game Commentary Cheering and Venting forum.

I dropped him yesterday, so the inevitable answer is going to be yes.

Huff had a great 2nd half last year, and is a 2nd half player, he is about to go off, and he is worth owning and playing. Huff is still a very good player people just don't understand that ya he had a down year last year but he came around just like he is about too. I have had him on my bench all year, and im about to reap the benefits, if you can get him, go do it. It is very likely he will repeat last years numbers, and that means you get all those stats from here on out. ;-D

My advice would be to get over this guy, and drop him.

The D-Rays should have traded him last year.

why dump a guy who is capable of putting up 20HR and 60 RBI from here on out?

Because I don't think he is capable.

He hasn't put up those numbers in half a season, and I doubt he does it this year either.

I don't think Huff has value until he is traded. I think he is finally tired of all the trade talks surrounding him. I mean TB is not exactly the best team or place to play. Especially right now, when they have young Stud in the minors waiting to bust off.

I say he will be traded, not sure to where.

17HR/57RBI in 2003 post break

16HR/52RBI in 2004 post break

14HR/47RBI in 2005 post break

and post all star break is NOT half a season, were at the half way point right now, the break isnt for a few weeks.

huff has performed in 2nd hald each of last 3 years.

if he hits 15 Homers and 50 RBI from here on out he is a nice player to have.

I am been hiding Huff on my bench all year too. I have been way too stubborn to drop him despite the advice of most people here. Over the last few days I have received several trade offers. Nothing spectacular, but there are people out there willing to take a chance on him.

I am hoping for the best.
