A. Reyes v. J. Upton...who to keep for 2007 and on?

I just picked up A. Reyes for the potential start he may make this week... on CBS hes still listed as on the minors and as such I can slot him in of my TWO minor league slots...currently there are hendrick and j.upton... I want to keep hendrick there for 2007..

What should I do about Reyes/Upton? Id have to drop Upton if I want to put Reyes there and not call him up for 2006...and hold on to him for 2007...is it a better long run plan to keep Upton? who will probably help me in 2008/9?

What do you guys think??

We get 5 major keepers, and as of right now I'll be chosing from:
M. Cabrera, Howard, Hafner, Ortiz, C Zambrano, Carpenter, Webb.

I'd rather have Kendrick and Upton than Reyes.

Adam Kennedy is a FA after this season...so if Anaheim doesn't trade him before that, the job is Kendrick's to lose.

i would assume not for a long time. it will be a few yrs until hes going to get called up and another few years before he succeeds. look at his brother.....not to mention they dont know where hes gonna play in the field either and stephen drew will likely be called up THIS season, so theres a slight roadblock at SS. a move to the OF certainly knocks his value down a bit too.

Based on everything I've been reading, and the fact that many consider Upton the top prospect in all of baseball (Griffey/ARod like praise) that it should not even be close to keep Kendrick and wait on Upton.

That hits the nail on the head right there. Anyone you can drop for Reyes off the major league roster and carry Kendrick/Upton as your minor leaguers? I think Reyes is up to stay now.
