Amazing how much information has come out the last few years about the value of solid middle relievers.

Scott Shields is an enigma, 'nuff said.

I understand a bit of why Scott Shields can post win records similar to the closers/starters just from watching the box scores from LAA's games. They're just VERY picky about when they bring him in to games. It's almost always a tie game or 1 run either way. They just go with another guy like Donnely if it's not that close which keeps Shields' innings almost as leveraged as the starters/relievers.

I definitely like it too.
