Sanders isn't any better than what the Yankees are putting out there right now.

They moved Butler from left field to right field at the start of this season, so I don't see any reason why he would play left field in the majors. He isn't the best fielder but he has an above average arm and with Gathright and Dejesus now in the outfield in will be much easier to hide Butler in right.

Butler's not going to be a DH, at least for awhile. They are confident that he can play right field adequately, and he really hasn't been that bad defensively this year.

FYI, if you need steals I would take a flyer on Gathright. He is going to play everyday with KC and they have been on record saying they are going to give him the green light on the basepaths.

Obviously if he continues hitting at a clip of 200 then it won't be worth it, but if he can up his OBP to around 350 then he could be a valuable option.

he needs to get out of the 9 hole too...but I realize he has to play his way out of it first. He is definitely worth a flyer, esp. if you are desperate for steals

Agree, but Moore has said he is being groomed for leadoff so I would assume that once he gets his OBP up, he will be moved up to the top of the order.

No, Dejesus will bat 2nd which is a much better fit for him.

Not sure what they will do with Grudz, but I have a feeling that will be settled within the next few weeks once he and some other guys get new homes.
