Definitely. Even though your staff is thin, I would gladly give up 2 inconsistent "potential" guys for a power 1B and a solid SP. Especially do it because you need some pop.

You should definitely do it. Sexson is a quality and consistent player who has been on a tear as of late. Perez is inconsistent and the dodgers have no offense this season and the angels have not returned to World Series form. The Marlins staff would seem good to stick with as they are in the middle of a wild card race. Hope that helps.

YES. You are giving up basically crap for a decent pitcher and a good firstbaseman. I have had Oriz and Perez and traded them away, picked the up from FA for spot starts after they were dropped by the team I traded them to, and dropped them bacfk to the wire again. i would rather have what you are getting. I did have Perez against CIN but just because he has a good history against them. PULL THE TRIGGER you are getting a good deal.
