With the limited TV chanels here in India, I was stuck having to see the Miami/Oregon game this past weekend on ESPN..
I really thought that the Camera angle that the NCAA had straight behind the pitcher towards the plate was really nice. I was able to see the movement on the ball and still catch the whole at bat..
Why doesn't MLB adapt this camera angle vice the one one towards the right of the SP? The current way you barely see any movement on the ball..
It would be nice to see Liriano and Zito pitch with the NCAA angle..
Sorry if this has been covered before, but oh well.

India has GREAT food too.
Yeah, I agree about the camera angles. It probably has to do with the stadium in Omaha's layout, with the open field behind the outfield wall instead of a grandstand. It just depends on where they can mount the camera, but I would like to see MLB pitches with the movement.
Like duckmonkey said, it has a lot to due where they can actually mount the cameras. In MLB parks there are a lot more options and the general thought is to do it to the right of MLB pitchers, as that has been the norm and what everyone is used to. Also I doubt they want to interfer with the batters eye in most parks that is always right behind the pitchers. Though if you watch games when the Nationals are at home, you can tell it's not an original baseball stadium. They can't have the same angle there and use it more over the top, which in turn gives you a different look at pitches.
