Peralta hitting third today

Postby Chip1010 » Mon Jun 19, 2006 6:51 pm

Lineups are up, and Jhonny Peralta is back in the No. 3 slot today. Wedge obviously wants him in that spot, and it appears Peralta's recent mini-tear got him his spot back. Now lets hope he keeps hitting. :-o

Hrm...he's making me wonder if I should jump on the Peralta/Milledge deal I was offered in a keeper league. :-?

Of course that's if the offer is even still out there after these last 4 days.

Me, too. To be honest, I would have dropped him had there been a decent SS available on the WW in my league, but there wasn't, so I was kind of stuck. I figured he'd turn it around at some point. He's got the talent.

1-for-2 with a bomb tonight! And three walks, if that matters to you.

I picked up Bill Hall to fill in for him but held on to him which seems to be paying off. And the BB do count for me. ;-)

Someone traded for Young in my league and dropped Guillen, so I picked up Guillen and dropped Peralta after he started getting days off. Given Guillen's cranky knee, I figured now that Peralta is back hitting he's a safer bet, especially to remain healthy. I was able to get Peralta back last night. ;-D

I wasn't sure who to start after I picked up Lugo after someone dropped him... now I know. Thanks for the update.

I'm torn, I like Peralta if he's hitting well in that lineup, but I keep thinking GIles is going to heat up and score a lot of runs with Chipper and Jones backing him... I also like Giles steals as I've already got a lot of good high average power guys who don't run.
