Pujols Likely (Possible) to Return Friday Night vs. Detroit!

Geez, I'll be scared S*#tless the first week or so. I'd already penciled in my mind 6 weeks, so sooner will be really scary. Funny thing is, Ever since I've had him on the DL, I'm in first by an even wider higher margin, so I've been content to let him take as much time as he needs. I have dipped a little in power categories but my pitchers finally woke up after a horrid start and made the difference. If my pitchers keep it up and Pujols rolls, man I'll crush my league this year.

Yep, if they are bringing him back Friday I'm all for it because they've been very clear that he won't be back until he's 100%. A return Friday means that Pujols is not only the best hitter in the majors now but he's also the fastest healer. ;-D

I'll believe it when I see it.

Pujols suffered a strained oblique muscle. That's a serious and tricky injury that usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to heal. For Pujols to come back after 3 weeks seems awfully optimistic to me and smacks of the hype we read about Derrek Lee coming back early, only to be disappointed when that's not gonna happen.

Personally, I can't wait for Pujols to come back as I have Carpenter in my rotation and Reyes if he gets the call up again. But three weeks seems too fast to me.

Well I just read an article that says he will travel with the team but will not play. So that sord of puts that rumor to rest about him starting this week.

Im not surprised (see my post above). When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
