Harang, Valentine, Claussen, etc.

Good pickups for Cincy? Jim Bowden always harped on minor league pitching while in office, looks like we hit the motherload just after he got axed.
Did you know there are no such things as "white" or "black" people?

One caveat about Claussen. The Yankees hardly ever trade away their best prospects. Claussen had Tommy John Surgery last year, and pitched a great half season in the minors for the Yankees, but I know the Reds would like to see him at 100% before he joins there rotation. Maybe the Yankees knew something everyone else didn't, and rushed him back from surgery in order to perform before the trade deadline. The Yankees don't trade away the Jeters, Bernies, Riveras, and Sorianos of their farm system, they trade away the D'Angelo Jiminezes.
