Colon's first start

Good first 6, I'm shocked he's out for the 7th. I think Scioscia is pressing his luck. I know he needs to rest Shieldand K-Rod today, but I'd have left wellenuf alone with a good 6innings from Colon.

Maybe he'll reinjure himself and Jered Weaver will get recalled for sure. ;-) ;-7

Y'all leave Fats alone.

I seriously doubt his arm would actually fall off. He may eat it, but it won't just spontaneously fall off. That's silly.

No, if the Angels are gonna win the West, they need the old Bartolo.... and Jered.

All it would take is a bit of salt and pepper and Bigfat Colon would be all over that meal.

He actually looked thinner out there...

He's not David Wells fat though. He's a big-boned barrell-chested guy who could never be svelte no matter how hard he dieted or exercised.

Sciossia wasn't even happy with 7 strong innings, he had to send him out there for the 8th even, so he could give up a couple infield hits and turn it over to the bullpen to let them score.

Edit: Nevermind me, ESPN's play by play recap shows Fat Bart starting the 8th but they were wrong, it was Romero that started the inning and gave up the infield hits.
Sciossia is still and idiot and a whiner though!

Even with Colon and Jered the Angels are NOT going to win the division. They are an awful team with an offense even worse than the one they trotted out there last year. No chance they win the division this time around.
