They'll probably be going with a CBC with Ruddy Lugo and Camp battling for most of the save opps.

keep a close eye on Meadows, he's been warming for the 9th in anticipation of a few save ops only for TB to either blow iy on the 8th ort score runs and make it a non save op.

I know most sources are saying Camp, but he came in in the 6th(?) yesterday, while Meadows didn't pitch. How many closers come in and pitch the 6th inning? The last time Meadows did pitch was in the extra innings game last week where he had been warming up in the 9th.

Lugo pitched in 2 this past weekend that were not save situations so I would say definitely not him.

"These go to 11".

Meadows is my guess. Although I wish they would try Orvella there but it looks doubtful. Ruddy Lugo will be the setup guy for sure IMO. So Meadows will get the opps.

Seth McClung was sent down to AAA to learn the details on closing...seems when he's recalled he would get an opportunity to close.

I don't have a link but it was posted on Rotowire. I wouldn't pick him up immediately as it sounds like it's just something DRays management is going to give a try but keep an eye on news about McClung...he has pretty good stuff and has to be considered as better than Tyler Walker.

Any word on when Walker may return from the DL? And will he still be the closer?

No on both counts, I think. I haven't seen a Walker update for over a week and I doubt he comes straight back in anyway. As it says above, it seems the Rays are prepping McClung for the role and Meadows has met with some success closing in the meantime.

Walker is on my DL but if he ain't closing, I'll drop him if I need the spot.
