He tried it out on Friday.. and apparently didn't like it
Is he going to get enough games to qualify at 1B in Yahoo and other leagues?

i think you have to had played 20 games at the position to retain eligibility. It's 20 or 15 I can't remember.

You mean for yahoo? 5 starts or 10 games played at the position.
Yea thats for this year. He will most likely get eligibility this year, but to retain it for next year, i think you need to have played 20.

Nope, 5 starts or 10 appearances and he'll have eligibility at 1st next year too.

Correct. Ortiz had 10 games at 1B last year, and is 1B eligible this year.
Hopefully Ortiz holds it for next year...
Hafner looks like he will get it, I am trying to trade for him now.
