should I drop him for Sexson? Only thing is we have OBP as a category and that is a huge dropoff there...don't need more HR really, and I would lose Johnson's SB...man I've been hit hard with these non-DL injuries...with no subs really (I was forced to go catcherless last week to have enough pitchers and keep the rest of the lineup full) its been tough...Giambi, Ensberg, Willingham (now dropped and snagged by somebody else), and now Johnson and Alou...ugh.
I probably wouldn't, even though Sexson has shown some signs of a comeback. On the other hand, Johnson has had a career of a break-off from his performance from the first-half. If this opportuninty presents itself in about 2 weeks and Sexson is doing better and Johnson ain't, I would say take it.

relax guy, its only a few days, he should be good by mid-week. if yo ucount obp as a cat, you HAVE to hold onto nicky j, hes extremely valuable with obp. his sb's???? you're relying on his 6 sb so far? if so, you probably lost steals anyway.
Patterson, Podsednik, and Soriano....got the SB covered but that helps...and if an SB is as valuable (or more depending who you ask) than a HR, those 6 SB bump his value up quite a bit as compared to Sexson.
Injury report: First baseman Nick Johnson, who suffered a back strain against the Yankees last Saturday, hopes to start playing in a game once the team plays the Orioles in Baltimore this weekend.
Johnson said he is feeling better, but still feels some occassional discomfort.
"I still feel a little bit in there with certain things I do -- [like a bowel movement], if I get up certain ways," Johnson said.
thank you hobbes, for making one of the gayest comments about nick johnson and his injury.
"I dont know who the Royals will have in centerfield now that Estebean German took one in the mouth on a fly ball. Probably Kerry Robinson which means that the Royals start with one out every 3 innings."
