Prior Starting on Sunday...?

I'm starting him. I have a pretty comfortable lead in ERA and WHIP so it shouldn't hurt me too badly if he gets lit up. I'll be watching the game, so it will make things a bit more exciting

3.2 innings, 7 ER's, and 7 hits...i hope you had a huge lead in those categories like you said

Not sure yet... that was awful, but man, the wind was blowing out yesterday.

Might take him a few more starts to get back into Prior form (haha) but he can't do any worse than this.

His delivery looked smooth and effortless, it's just that his breaking stuff pretty much eluded him. I watched him throw several in a row that just didn't break. Back to the fastball, *whack*. Guess that's how it goes.

I still think Mark will rebound and post great numbers the rest of the way, but after yesterday I'm not too sure how many more starts it'll take for him to get rolling.

He'll be fine. It's very tough to pitch at Wrigley when the wind is blowing out. Routine fly balls will carry out of there. Between the weather conditions and the rust, he got rocked. Tigers' offense is also pretty hot right now.

i agree guys...remember, he kind of cut his rehab short to make that start. if prior is healthy good things will come, just give him a little time. He has to learn to trust his shoulder.

I was one of the idiots who started him this weekend!

PS He has a pretty good matchup vs. MIN next time out and im going to be tempted again...
