Don't go if you don't want to. Why do your friends care so much? From what I can read, it's pretty clear that you don't want to go. It's not like you're going to be with these kids the rest of your life. In fact in a few months they'll be pretty much gone (unless they're also going to BU ) so if they are gonna make a big deal about it, it's their problem.
