You serious?

I thought he was pretty damned impressive for his debut. He was electric until that last inning ... and he still had a pretty good start.

I see him as this month's Jered Weaver. ;-D

The difference is Chad's here to stay, while Weaver's already back in the minors.

I don't think anyone expects Jered to stay in the minors long ... ;-)

And Billingsley did pretty well. His FB topped at 96 (I think?), his breaking curveball was crazy, he had a sub-3.5 ERA in his first start, and he pitched three no-hit innings.

What did you want, exactly? A CG shutout? :-D

Bitter, maybe? I've read some of your posts, and you are just bitter towards the Dodgers as a whole. Don't get me wrong, I hate the Angels, but I don't come onto your board to talk about your terrible offense or the great signing of Jeff Weaver or the incredible bat of Casey Kotchman.

Eh. It's a public forum, and the first amendment still stands. He can post where he pleases.

But I maintain the right to disagree with him. ;-)

LOL...i didnt expect cg shutout...that would be really impressive by anyone in their rookie year...but i guess i expected at least 5 ks...and a longer outing then 5.1 innings...
