Hanley Ramirez [time to drop?]

Postby jbauer2485 » Fri Jun 16, 2006 10:21 am

Only 6 hits in June, no hits in the last 6 games or so.

Is he coming back to Earth or is this injury-related and will probably break out of it soon?

Coming back to earth. He's a rookie, what did you guys expect? Hope you guys didnt cut someone like Jimmy Rollins etc for him to begin with.

Good. Alot of people overreacted to Hanley's hot start and actually cut proven veterans for him. :-o

Hes still a huge threat on the basepaths and Im using im in HTH leagues for his steals and run scoring potential. I wouldn't drop him unless you have a top 5 SS becuase he still remains in the top ten IMO.

He's been cold for only a week maybe week 1/2. Go ahead and drop him so someone one else can pick him up and enjoy his stats when he gets out of his little funk. I'm just gonna ride it out a little, rookie slumps last a little longer than normal.

Just wondering: Do you always drop someone who is slumping a bit? If you do, I'd like to join your league to pick up your "rejects".

Haha, you wait him out. He'l bounce back. After all he is a rookie.

So you'd like to drop Teixiera when he's slumping? No. You bench him for someone else until he heats up. Just start another SS (if you can) or just wait. He'll bounce back (Hanley and Teix.)
