Here is my concern. When I hear and see chubby girls singing and dancing to Hollaback girl or my humps, I simple get annoyed at the song. But when I see ugly or chubby girls singing Don't Cha, it makes me very sad for them.

Ever since I abandoned all regular radio programming and have switched to public radio full time, I haven't been hearing horrible songs that much. I thought maybe I could get away from the bad songs like Hollaback Girl and Dontcha.

In fact, the only time I've ever heard "my humps" was on that Verizon commercial with the chick dancing in the dressing room. When I first saw that, I threw up in my mouth a little.

So onto my new rant; what's the deal with Verizon? People seriously can't go 6 minutes without being entertained? If I want to listen to music, I'll get an iPod. I don't need my cell phone to be a travelling juke box, where I pay 4 bucks for Foreigner's "Cold as Ice." But thanks Verizon; just when I thought I got away from irritating pop songs, you go ahead and inject them into your horrible commercials that try to convince us that regular people like to dance in the streets to their ringtones. Going with the Verizon flow, my new least favorite song is that crap by Nelly Fartado and the Bootman.
