Taking a wild guess and going out on a limb, but it seems you are a A's fan...What's the deal with Frank T? Is this going to hamper him long-term this year and is he worth dropping for DJ or stashing on the DL...I just want to act tonight before someone else gets DJ and I cannot put Hurt on the DL till Yahoo updates overnite...I just also don't want a DL dilemna if he comes back ina week...Thx!!!

What's the news on his playing time (Johnson)? I've picked him up to replace Shelton in several leagues and Crisp in another (basically all the leagues that I couldn't get Morneau in tonight) but I really need someone that's at least going to play all the time against righties if not more than that.

so with tex slumping, should i keep an eye on dan johnson and consider picking him up in the future? i know it's not the best replacement, but i want to have someone just in case.

then again, i do also have swisher . . .

Johnson has been pretty much been playing every day from the start. He was resting more when he was slumping but I'd expect him to continue to essentially be an everyday player here on out. He's got a 7-game hitting streak going right now. I've got the dilemma in our AL-league of who to keep when Mike Sweeney comes back. With limited transactions in that league, I'm actually leaning towards trading Sweeney now instead of the other way around.

I am an As fanatic and go to all home games....Johnson sits vs Lefties....swisher plays 1B vs lefties......Thomas is on 15 day DL and will be back on time it looks....both he and Johnson are good options, but Dan's confidence and swing are just lights out right now...he is like a new ballplayer....I would take him over thomas for the rest of the year...right now he is batting 250-6HR-21RBI....look for 275- 22HR-75 rbi
