I think Redding's numbers aren't that impressive actually; his WHIP of 1.41 is actually higher than Radke's and indicates his ERA should be higher than it is, somewhere in the mid-4's. I think Redding has been lucky so far and is a blowup waiting to happen.

right, i absolutely agree, one of these days, redding will blow up. thats why he won against the cards, expos, and marlins. maybe in the next few weeks when he faces teams like la and sd.
