Has he lost his starting job? Or does he have a nagging injury that I don't know about?

Living here in Houston, he was talked about on sports radio yesterday afternoon...it sounds like he has lost his starting job. Chris Burke has done a much better job offensively since he has taken over for Taveras. Sounds like Taveras may be used as a pinch runner with occasional starts.

Apparently the Astros are not happy with his glove work either which is the kiss of death if you are not producing at the plate.

He's been dropped recently in a couple of leagues I'm in. Definitely a big disappointment for people looking for steals this year.

I needed steals bad too, looks like I'll have to go drop him. I read somewhere that he had like 60 infield hits last year, and that's the only reason his average was anywhere near respectable. That same article called him one of the worst hitters in the majors, and if it weren't for the speed, he'd be nothing.

And if he isn't playing defense now, I'm going to have to agree with the Astros in sitting him.
