New to baseball in general - as well as fantasy WHIR..?

This is my first year playing fantasy as well as my first year watching baseball period. (MLB.tv is the most incredible thing in the history of time as far as I'm concerned).

Anyhow, I've been doing a lot of reading and making pickups and a trade here and there, and this is the team I've got assembled:

I've had both Cole Hamels and Matt Kemp as well as Josh Willingham (until his recent DL assignment) but dropped Kemp for Atkins and Hamels for Soler and Willingham for McAnn.

It's only a 7 team league so there are still quite a few players on the WW. I'm currently in third place...what are your thoughts?

welcome to the cafe !! baseball is a wonderful conglomeration of strategy, athleticism, drama, twists and turns ... you have a lifetime of memories to look forward to ... keep posting (you have a nice team and good luck w/that)

yea...you have a good team but, if i were you i would find some way to either trade lee, hafner, or thome...(preferibly thome) and upgrade at some IF position possibly 3b, because if your only able to start 1 1b and 1 utility player then having thome, dlee, and hafner is useless because one of them will have to sit the bench, when you can use one of them as trade bait...gl to you in the future man!

The reason I have two at 3B is because I thought it would be a good idea to let Chavez slump it out on the bench while I put the hot bat of Gatkins in at 3rd in the meanwhile. (We have a small league, so lots of these guys are still available).
