If this is on the plastic area near the track pad,
Crack an egg in a cup of water and mix it with a cup or two of water. Put a very small amount on a cloth and rub the affected area. The egg allows the oil and water to mix so you can wipe it off.
Make sure you clean off the area by drying it well and wiping it off with a moist, non eggy towel.
But remember, dont use a very large amount at all incase of spillage.
If its actually on the pad or right next to the keyboard, dont do it.

Add some fresh ground pepper and pinch of salt, and you've got a Laptop Omlette!

Baby Butt Wipes. You buy them at any grocery store or Target next to the diapers. They're not full of harsh chemicals but they clean just about everything.

They're like magic, as every parent knows.
Not a parent but they aren't harsh so that would be good.

When my laptop screen was dirty I used these lysol/vinegar prepaked things. I'll try to find the exact name when I get home.
