(Pats self on back...) I've been warning this forum since late June that something was seriously wrong with Kearns - not many wanted to believe my warning at the time.
Of course, I've also been warning about Maddux since late June - and I picked Maddux back up this week.

In a keeper league, Kearns probably does retain quite a bit of value, assuming you are willing to risk keeping him given his injury history. If the team that has Kearns is in the running for the title this year, I would offer him up a stud that you're not going to keep next year for Kearns. If the guy with Kearns is rebuilding, I doubt he'll be willing to trade him.
