This is a 12 Team, H2H (Hits and Losses), with 6 Keepers

My Roster:
C - J Varitek
1B - A Dunn
2B - J Vidro
3B - R Zimmerman
SS - J Reyes
IF - H Ramirez
OF - V Wells
OF - G Sizemore
OF - JD Drew
Util - J Francoeur, R Baldelli
BN - S Casey, K Morales, D Young
DL - A Pujols

SP - Kazmir, Sheets, J Patterson, E Santana, Wang, Duke
RP - Street, Turnbow, Coffey, K Ray, Julio

Recent trades:
Sent C Zambrano for G Sizemore
Sent J Verlander/F Sanchez for J Patterson/H Ramirez

Proposed trade:
V Wells and J Francoeur for D Wright

Right now I'm looking to fill up my hole at third base. What other moves should I make?

Thanks. Leave a link.

i like that deal that you proposed and think that it has a good chance of working...since that would fill you biggest need at 3B you could start looking at another area of your team that could use some help...patterson will be back soon enough which should help you, but who knows how long sheets will be out?...i feel you made a mistake when you sent away zambrano and now will have to do something about it...try trading away some of your closers for a reliable starter, if you can do that you will have a great team

Thanks for your input on mine. I definitely like the C-Zam/Sizemore trade you made. I'm lukewarm on the second. It all depends on how John Patterson fares after coming off the DL, but a risk worth taking since you're not likely to keep Verlander.

As for this particular trade, I'd try it out but it depends on how the other fella feels about Wells from this year and beyond. Zimmerman is a serviceable 3B with a relatively high ceiling. I don't think you'll get Wright for Wells and Francoeur, and you could wind up giving away Wells and Kazmir, which might sound like a steep price, given Kazmir's long-term value.

Thanks for the advice so far. I was looking to move Dunn for Sizemore, but didn't want to give up too much power with Pujols out. CZam was the logical choice and now I have his Pujols/Dunn's 40+HRs plus 20 or so from Sizemore and hopefully 15-25 bags. I pick up Hanley to compliment Sizemore/Reyes so that I would have a good chance at winning SB each week.

Verlander wasn't going to be a keeper and neither will J Patterson, but I think he'll be the better 2nd half pitcher. As a former Beckett owner Verlander's blisters bother me more than his possible reduced innings.

I like the moves you made but you'll have to give up more for Sizemore then Dunn. I love the Wells move. I'm a big fan of his and I think he's the real deal but David Wright is just to damn awesome to ignore. Great move on your part.

I already have Sizemore. (see the above trades) The Wells/Francoeur for DWright trade is one I proposed. I don't think it's enough, but I'll see what happens.

Thanks for the help with mine. I was not a Wright believer at first but now I most definitely am. I like the trade you offered to get him and if you can pull that one off I'd do it..

yea i like the Wright trade for you...if it gets accepted, put baldelli in the OF, move Casey and Zimmermon to UTIL.

Looks like you need some SP though...i would try to move a closer for a quality starter. If you can wait long enough, when pujols comes back try to package a closer with Dunn for an impact starter.

I think the Wright side of that deal is the right side of that deal, but let's not sell Wells and Francouer short- Wells is having a break out year, and Francouer is going to be great within a year or two. Even so, I go with the Wright side.
