Gagne?

It says he is most likely heading back to the DL. Should I wait it out, will he actually get any saves this season? Also, any word on who the closer would be without him? Broxton or Baez...

Saito would probably figure into the closer's role as well. It's still to early to say whether you should cut him or give up hope yet though. Just follow the situation until more info comes up.

Manager Grady Little told MLB.com that Eric Gagne (elbow) is likely to be placed on the 15-day DL before Tuesday's game in San Diego. "Right now, he's still not able to throw a bullpen," Little told the team's official site. "That's not something we like." Rookie Takaski Saito will serve as the team's closer in his absence.

FANTASY ANALYSIS
Add Saito in all leagues where you need saves. The rookie has been great and should get ample opportunities in the coming weeks. Pick him up immediately.

Another year, another wasted draft pick. That's 2 years in a row for me with Gagne and Sheets.

Note to self. Next year :-t

I know. It's taken them forever to put Gagne or Willingham on the DL and the FA list is callin' my name.

If Saito keeps pitching like this Gagne could end up as the setup man if/when he returns. It's unlikely that he'll ever get back to form

ESPN;

Gagne (elbow) will miss a minimum of two to three weeks after being diagnosed with an irritated nerve in his right elbow, the LA Times reports.Gagne will not be able to throw until the irritation subsides. Consider three weeks to be a highly optimistic time frame at this point.

Yikes!!! I hope this doesn't occur...
:~( :~( :~(

I used a high pick on him, he's been injured for most of the season, and he might be a setup guy- this stinks
