I think he had a Triple A start today...Anyone knows how it went?

Prior at AAA Iowa according to the telecast on Comcast Sportsnet.........

5 scoreless innings, 8 K's, 1 BB. Pretty impressive.

This was the start that he said he was going to go at it like it was a real game, rather than a tune up like his previous rehab starts.

I would say that it is going pretty well......



Supposedly he has one more rehab start in AAA and then will be ready to come up. However, they might skip his last rehab start after this performance.

Prior's night is done after 6.2 innings 4H 1R/0ER 10/1 K/BB. So his final minor league stats (assuming this was his last start):

18.2IP 15H 6ER 22/3 K/BB 2.89ERA

Also note that after every start thus far he's mentioned how great he felt.
