I'm in a 5x5 roto league in a non-keeper 12 team league.

Here's my roster:
ACTIVE BATTERS
J Lopez C
J Posada C
P Fielder 1B
B Roberts 2B
T Glaus 3B
M Young SS
B Giles OF
C Crawford OF
C Lee OF
K Mench OF
S Podsednik OF
C Delgado U
N Johnson U

ACTIVE PITCHERS
B Arroyo SP
C Hamels SP
F Liriano SP
J Contreras SP
J Verlander SP
K Millwood SP
K Rogers SP (Picked him up to start in place for Gagne)
A Otsuka RP
C Cordero RP

RESERVES
D Lee 1B
M Ensberg 3B
E Gagne RP

I just picked up Morgan Ensberg, I guess the owner who dropped him thought he had a serious injury. I'm not going to keep him, as I already have Glaus and two good Utility players. I also need to trade him, becasue in my league we're only allowed to have 2 reserve spots. I'm targeting B.J. Ryan for Gagne's injury(I'm 6th in saves) . Do you think Ensberg for Ryan would sound as a reasonable deal for the other owner? Any advice about this, or the rest of my roster would be greatly appreciated-

you are relying on alot of young arms who may or may not be solid...I'd try to get a veteran arm...plus you start a ton of batters every week..I guess that's why you put a premium on getting hitters over pitchers...the only other thing I see is get a new 2b..Roberts isn't that good....

thanks for the help..you have tons to use to get a stud pitcher and another 2b...

Ensberg was a real find. I'd sell high on Glaus right now, rather than moving Morgan. You could probably get a top-tier arm. Is Peavy's owner frustrated and looking for a 3b?

Overall, you team is great at the moment. In the long run, I'm a bit worried about the younger arms, along with Contreras or Arroyo maintaining this form. Like I said, I'd try moving for at least one established ace. You have more than enough hitting to make a deal. ;-D
