Morneau...slowly but slowly

rotoworld

It’s been a couple decades since the Twins had a legitimate power threat in the middle of the lineup, but at 25 years old Justin Morneau appears to have finally filled that gap. With a grand slam Wednesday, Morneau is hitting .300 with 10 homers and 36 RBIs in 38 games dating back to May 1.

Even with a sub par April the former top prospect is on pace for 35 homers and 130 RBIs, and his batting average is up to .267 after hitting just .239 last season. While that sort of run production might be tough to keep up all year, as long as Morneau has Joe Mauer getting on base in front of him the RBIs should continue to pile up.

complimentary Mornea hits a 17 dinger post. Twins as a whole looking waay better than that horrible first month. Morneau should be a monster second half of the year.

Morneau has 17 and Tex has 6. The world truly is upside down.

There was never any question about his talent. ;-D

He is still having serious problems with lefties though, he hitting .234 with 3 walks and 18 k's. :-o

I'd sit him against LHP. ;-D
