Replace Crede with Fields!

I am sick of Joe Crede up with the team. He is not a MLB baseball caliber player. What the team needs is Fields up. Send Crede to the minors and bring up Fields at 3rd base! I know the team has already determined next year Fields is the teams 3rd baseman, but I would rather see it now.

this is utter foolishness. The only people sick of Joe Crede are the pitchers/teams that have to face him in late innings with men on base. Why in the world would they have determined that he's the 3B next year, either? Crede's under contract through next year; it's after that that he'll be arbitration eligible. If they can't get him signed before arbitration, i suppose they might trade him rather than go through that, but this nonsense about sending him down is just baseball - retarded.

Yeah, surely you still can't think this. Crede is one of the best overall 3B in the game with Great Defense, Good Power and a decent average. He is a stud at 3B. However, Uribe and his low average aren't cutting it. He performed well in the WS in '05 and has a great arm and above average defense, but I think we should add a little pop to the lineup and try Josh Fields out at SS.

yeah, i'm in favor of any move that would mean that i wouldn't have to watch uribe flailing around at the plate in a Sox uniform ever again. he's aweful. great moments in the championship for sure, but i'd love to see him move along...
that said, i haven't heard anything about Fields at SS...i assume that if it were a possibility, we would have heard of it by now, as they have already tried to move him to other positions besides 3B
