He's been a pleasant surprise, just like DRoss. I noticed they both hit LHP pretty well so can I(we) assume that they usually get starts vs LHP.

When does Laird start? I need to pick up some catcher games when Varitek sits.

There are some pretty decent 2nd option C this year: Laird, Estrada, RMartin, DRoss

I wouldn't pick up Laird until he offically overtakes Barajas which looks to be very soon. I recently saw that Tex GM sees Laird as their C of the future.

Is it a good idea to spot start Laird when TEX pitches vs LHP?

Buehrle is pitching at TEX.

Not sure, I would wait and see who is in the opening lineup for Tex and make sure its Laird.
