I think that factor is overrated to a point...I have never/will never bench a stud pitcher playing there. Now obviously, I would doubt starting mediocre pitchers...but I don't think the altitude makes as much of a difference, it also has a lot to do w/ some guys named Helton and Wilson ;-)

The players names make no difference. Park indexes only reflect the home/road numbers of the home and visitors. The last 3 years 2,929 runs were scored at Coors, versus 1,953 away, for a staggering 150 run index. Sure,anyone can throw a nice game there, but over time, physics will get the era. Its been shown the ball travels 9% farther at mile high.
