I remember the Scrabble. I watched for about 15-20 minutes just for the oddness of it.
I even remember the announcers, if you can call them that, mentioning something about alot of the best players didn't even speak, read or understand English, they just sat down and basically memorized the dictionary and studied the different ways to conjugate verbs.

i used to play in high school and so did my older brother and his freinds. well, one of his friends was a substitute teacher and got my class one day. he asked if i had my cards but they were at home, so he wrote me a note saying i forgot my book and that i needed it for an assignment and let me go home to get them and played the last 1/2 hour of class

Ha, I saw that on ESPN Classic with those comedians that sit down and watch old footage as they make fun of it.
I actually watched about ten seconds of the rock, paper, scissors championships on A&E I think it was. Winner won $50,000, but come on now...

Don't get me wrong, it's a sport. But not that exciting to watch on TV. And honestly, who even knew there was a professional paintball league???
Personally I watched the paintball championship as much as I could. I did not really learn anything though, except for those guys guns were much stronger then the ones we play paintball with around here.
