I used to work with a guy who didn't wear his helmet one night. That was his last night.
I can understand why someone would not want to wear a helmet though. If anyone here ever rode you'd know that free feeling of the wind blowing through your hair. It's a rush. It's foolish too. The more you ride the more comfortable you feel. The more comfortable you feel the more careless you get. That's when accidents happen. Even if you don't take any chances it only takes one arsehole who comes out of nowhere to end your life.
I rode for a few years. I laid my bike over twice. Soon after I decided to get rid of it.
