Can someone please explain these terms to me? I'm still fairly new to the game of baseball. I understand stats but not terminology. Your help would be greatly apprecited.

Yea usually a pitcher pitches from the wind up when there are no runners on, and from the stretch when there are because if hes pitching from the wind up when a guy is on first or something, its much easier to steal off that pitcher.
And the rubber match is lets say its 1-1 in a series of 3 games, that 3rd game is the rubber match, (the deciding game). It took me a while to figure this one out, i always thought the rubber match meant a game between two very good pitchers.
The Mets [b]will[/b] win the World Series this year.
