I was bored scooping out my league and I wanted to see what kind of team I would have based on the players in my league who went undrafted at the beginning of the season. Not too bad of a team in my opionion. I'm gonna look at my other leagues just for fun. Check it out.

Not a winning team by any strectch... but if you add your first round picks, well just use your imagination. I'd like to say I grabbed most of these players, but I only got 2 This is my most competitive league however, I've got other leagues that will probably put together monster teams... but I'm gonna check those out later. Just for fun.
That's a cool idea. Last year, I went from worst to first after the all star break with a team mostly full of FA.
C VMart (FA; dropped by an impatient owner)
1B Giambi (FA)
2B Felipe Lopez/ Weeks (FA)
SS Peralta (FA)
3B Wright (Via trade for Halladay right before his injury)
OF Holliday (FA)
OF Gomes (FA)
OF Sizemore (FA)
U Ensberg (FA)
SP Peavy (Via Trade)
Sheets (Via trade)
Patterson (FA)
Felix (FA)
Chacon (FA)
Seo (FA)
RP Dempster (FA)
Farnsworth (FA)
Street (FA)
KRod (DRAFTED HIM!)
Just goes to show what you can find in the "trash bin"

I also won last year on a team made up of waiver claims and good FA signings. But this year, no such luck with a far deeper league. According to Yahoo's updates, the best players at each position available in my league are:
C - D. Ross, G. Laird
1B - C. Jackson, M. Jacobs
2B - D. Uggla, Jo. Lopez
3B - R. Zimmerman, M. Lamb
SS - M. DeRosa, J. Lugo
LF - J. Michaels, S. Taguchi, R. Langerhans
CF - J. DaVanon, N. McClouth, D. Hollins
RF - M. Cuddyer, E. Chavez, H. Luna
UTIL - F. Thomas, A. Gonzales
SP (8) -
I. Snell
Jo. Johnson
G. Meche
S. Olsen
J. Jennings
M. Morris
J. Koronka
J. Lieber
RP (8) -
J. Hancock
K. Birkins
J. Julio
O. Villarreal (stats are deceptive, and this is proof)
B. Hennessey
D. Oliver
P. Feliciano
J. Rauch
Hitting wise I figure you'd be at least somewhat competitive just depending on the streaks your players are on. Pitching wise, at least starting wise, you're screwed.
