For sure, Kennedy is a pending FA and will probably be dealt soon. The Blue Jays want him for Shea, but LAA broke off talks. Kendrick is viewed as a prospect capable of winning multiple batting titles. He doesn't have great speed or power but can hit for great avg. Kendrick will be chosen over Kennedy due to youth, cost, and potential.

Nah, he's a good bet for a guaranteed 15-15 season, but with potential .350+ BA. He'll be an ideal #2 batter in any order. Think maybe a faster and younger Mark Lorretta/Craig Biggio during those high avg. years.

That sounds right. Weeks has the potential for 30/30 and there's no way Kendrick approaches those numbers. Think of Kendrick as Iguchi with a very high batting average. I imagine he might not crack 10 home runs for a couple years but I still expect him to steal around 15 bags and hit over well over .300 even as he is adjusting to the big leagues.
