Could use expert advice....

Here is my squad I am starting and my bench players. I am in second place in a H2H league and a 6x6 scoring system. Yahoo. Anyway my team has been rolling and I am looking to get some beef to end the season. Been trying to deal Halladay or Helton but getting to little back for them. Even tried coupling them together. Anyway what do you suggest....

Just picked benitez off waivers and williams till they figure out closing roles. Wondering if I couple Halladay and Willis I could get Wood and move clement into a starting role with wood millwood and schilling. Mostly for K's. Anyway what do you think

This is a pretty damn good team. Your line-up is set up exactly as I would have it and your rotation and bullpen are excellent. I'm not sure what you could do to upgrade. Definately, DON'T make that trade for Wood. Hallady and Willis is WAY too much to give up for Wood.

If anything, I would look for another stud/quasi-stud closer to compliment Foulke. I'm not sure about Biddle, and his ERA and WHIP are a tad high for my tastes. Sure he has 27 saves, but you could certainly do better and it looks as though you have the starters to deal for just such a closer......

You have a nice, deep bench as well. Unfortunately most of those guys are on the DL currently. You could maybe also parlay one or more of those extra batters into a rockin closer.....perhaps?

I don't think either Williams or Benny are going to close permanantly; I would expect them each to pick up a few saves, Benitiz possibly for a while until Kaz comes back and Williams in more of a spot or committee role.

It might be a bit much but I feel that you have the depth to do it. How about WHEN GLAUS COMES BACK, you offer 1 of these combos:

1. Giles/Biddle for Gagne
2. Lee/Biddle for Gagne

If you do that, then you could activate Glaus as your 3B and then move Pujols to the OF. Even though you MIGHT be overpaying, it should make your team better in the long run.
