Great article on Giles on today's Baseball HQ site. In summary, he is getting somewhat unlucky with his BHIP% and they expect his BA to improve (surprised?). But they also suggest that folks don't count on too much power from him for the foreseeable future.
Read, dump.
My early candidates for the 2006Mike Lowell Award: Marcus Giles and Aubrey Huff.

I dumped him with a week to go in May and he was my 3rd rounder. Picked up Iguchi and haven't looked back. Someone in my league put in a waiver claim for him, so more power to them..... Dump him!!

Even in his very best years, he was streaky, about 1/3 of the season he was mediocre, the other 2/3rd he was fantastic... And he wasn't consistently streaky, some years he started hot, some cold, etc... So does that mean he's gonna heat up for sure? No... but the historical evidence points to this just being one of his cold periods... And he's not old enoough probably for this to be the age declining period of his career. If you don't have a great 2b on your roster, I'd take a flyer for a month and see if he heats up.
