Cantu, Rollins, Carpenter, Lidge and Colon could put up great 2nd half stats... A-Rod can go on tears too... His avg. is abnormally low this year, same with Pappi.... Hang in there a bit longer, see if they turn it around.

You can see why I'm so discouraged--this team should be doing a lot better.

I'd look at keeping Bay for sure, I wasnt a fan of his earlier this year but I am becomign one. I'd also look at packaging to get Johan and maybe Pujols, or if hitters are more popular in your league I'd look at keeping A-Rod and Bay and get Pujols

Normally I'd say it's okay to dump now but you've got a lot of underperforming stars that could take off at anytime. I mean Carpenter only 4 wins, Rollins hitting 257, Cantu out, Lidge and his trouble... That's just horrible luck, but luck can change. Those guys could take off at anytime and carry you to the top real fast. Plus, you've got great keeper prospects as is, so there aren't that many guys out there that I'd consider upgrades... Normally I'd say 6th place at this point, you're out of it, but with your talent, no way.
