I'm in a keeper league and moved montains (i.e. traded Chase Utley) to grab him last year, so I had no choice but to stick it out and wait... In a non keeper league, it's a whole different ballgame. Nursing projects on the pine is normally a bad idea if you can't keep the guy for next year.

Too bad for me. I just traded him for Pat "The Bat" and Cliff Lee.

:~(

I still have concerns about the Mariners shutting him down in September.

I am going to predict he takes a step back for the next game or two before he continues like this.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't have a trust level with him right now.

That can still be a very good deal for you.

ha, ya right. but i dont care if he wins 10 games as long as he hits 200 Ks and keeps his ERA in the 3s

Hey, it's about time. I needed a couple of K's for insurance over my opponent this week, and he provided a nice tasty 9.

It's about time. THIS is the guy i drafted.

i still think he has ways to go to justify his draft-day expectations.

BitterDodgerFan, I'm guessing by your avatar that you're angry about Beltre?? Why?? He was completely envigored by his contract year and then went back to his terrible self.

Jeesh, he shouldn't have been on any WW. I benched him for a few weeks and just inserted him tonight, thank God! But that was too much talent to be lingering on the WW.
