He is the one of only a couple Rockies that won't be affected all that much by a trade. He's a 300 hitter with power no matter where he is.
(don't get me wrong, his numbers will take a hit with a trade, anybodys would, but most rockie players that get traded lose almost
all of their value.)

I would not look for the power to return. He will hit 300+ , get his rbis and runs, but 30+ hrs arent going to happen. 2 main reasons. 1 his bad back has taken its toll alittle. and 2. since they have been using the humidor for the basball in Coors, hte baseball isnt flying out at the same rate. If he were trading to anything but a hitters part his hrs would be hurt more.

The humidor is not affecting Holliday...or Atkins. Helton has been de-roided. It is time to apply the duck test and face up to the reality of the situation imo.

buy, but consider yourself lucky if he hits more than 15HR the resst of the way. still gold in an OPS league.
