SNY is reporting that the New York Mets have placed Xavier Nady on the DL and Lastings Milledge has been recalled from Norfolk and added to the 25 man roster.

Depends on the Mets' plans I suppose. If he keeps the job for the rest of the year, definitely go with Milledge.

This is good to see. The Mets are not being shy about bringing up their young guys. Milledge might not hit for much power this year, but he should steal some bases. I wonder when Anderson Hernandez gets called back up to take over 2B for good.

There is also speculation is that Bannister will be on the 60 DL to make room for Milledge.
