This is odd but in a good way. The Mets could have called up Diaz or they could have used 'Stache or Woody in RF for 2 weeks. Instead they choose to start Milledge and start his arbitration clock. The fact that they are willing to start his clock makes me think this may be more than temporary.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
