He is scheduled to pitch @ Min. That was not the easiest time to make a debut. Waiting around for hours because of the rain and then factor in the nerves and the Texas lineup. We'll see next time out how his command is. He should get his strikeouts. He reminds me of Kazmir.
Jon Lester will likely be called up to make his major league debut in one of the games of Boston's doubleheader on Saturday. David Wells still won't be ready to return, so Lester is being lineup up for the assignment. He had his scheduled start for Pawtucket pushed back from Saturday to Monday. There's a good chance it'd be just one and done for Lester, but if it turns out that he's ready now, he could make a big impact in fantasy leagues. Jun. 4 - 12:29 pm et Source: Boston.com
These keeper guys keep popping up
Another instance where I don't agree with RotoWorld. How can he make a big impact in fantasy leagues?? He isn't in Yahoo yet. If he is "1 and done", what impact is he making if he can't be added and might not even be playing??

I'd expect a much better start against Minnesota, not exactly a Texas-like offensive juggernaut.
Texas is so unpredicatable with their offense. Like that game vs KC this past week. They had the lead but lost 16-12.
Nice signature. Man, those 3 are gonna dominate Red Sox pitching.
Is Clement done? You guys are saying that Lester would get the start Thursday since Schilling is starting Tuesday and Wakefield Wednesday. Y! Sports has a TBD for the BoSox on Thursday. I'm guessing Beckett is starting after the series against MIN.
I know nerves is a reasonable excuse, but Lester looked like a deer in the headlights the whole game. Texas has some bats, but it's won't get any easier pitching in the AL East Div. Maybe he'll show more poise at Minny. The Red Sox really need him to show up with the status of their rotation.
