Wiggy has been a nice surprise from the waiver wire for me this year, and his position flexibility has been an added bonus for my lineup. However, I am wondering about his playing time for the rest of the year. I seem to remember some sentiments that his playing time would drop off significantly for some reason, but I can't remember what it was.
What do you guys think? Can I count on Wiggy getting normal playing time the rest of the year? Even if he does continue to play, do you expect his numbers to drop off?
For now I think Wiggs has established his role in that infield, probably at 1B. He's earned the spot with his play thus far, imo, though his average was hurting my team so I recently had to drop him from my roster.

that may not have been the smartest move.. dropping wiggy.. his average has been 296 over the past month

Yeah, I just couldn't take it anymore though. His average, for the time he was on my team, was .255. I picked up Youkilis after trying out Huff. Not the most sexy pick, but he will give me a boost in average, which I desperately need.
After his hot start, he slowed up a bit in early May, and everyone hopped off of the bandwagon, but the surprising thing is, he picked it up again and is still going strong!
He has always showed power potential, but that average will be low.
