.300+AVG, .420+ OBP, .550+ SLUG...

He's hitting cleanup in a decent Nationals lineup and hes that magical age 27.

He's busting out in a big way this year and nobody says poo about it. Undervalued big time.

he started off very hot and i reaped the benefits but he cooled considerably for a stretch. He is now coming on again. While i do not agree on the "stud" listing, he is very underated and is good for .300 avg great obp and 25-29 hr or so.

For sure. ;-D

My only complaint is that he is very injury prone. Add that to the fact that no one seems to think he is good and i cant trade him for anyone! (He's currently on my bench right now, unfortunately).

Be very very quiet. The wrist or hangnail injury to keep him out 2 months is looming. Man has never sniffed 500 ABs in a season, let alone 600 ABs.

same here, everyone in my league turns down my Nick Johnson offers.

And I was only asking for players like Greg Maddux and Chad Tracy.

I think everyone is trying to trade him because in the back of our minds we know he's gonna get hurt, or at least cool off.

Hurt is a concern, but if he stays healthy, I don't think he'll cool off too much. I picked him up in my money roto very early this year, but had to drop him b/c of an injury. :-t
Is there anything fluffier than a cloud?
If there is, I don't want to know about it.

No one ever disputed NJ's ability. Bu tthe man gets hurt just by breathing. He has been around since 2001 and NEVER had more than 450 ABs. Maybe this year he manages to avoid injury. Either way, considering that he came as a late round flier pick in leagues, he was well worth it. If he stays healthy you win big. If he lasts 1/2 a season, you still come out way ahead relative to draft price.
