Why is soriano riding pine?

Its never enough. The little punk sits practically on the plate and sucks at getting out of the way. Not a great combination. Pitchers have to be able to pitch inside, and if Soriano doesn't learn to properly protect himself, then he deserves to get hurt.

I can't remember the last time I saw a player crowd as badly as him - its gotten to the point where he could get hit by an inside strike!!!!

i agree, from what i saw he was starting his swing and his hands were coming foreward and it plunked him on the knuckle or wrist. but he was practically leaning over the plate, it was just as much his fault as the pitchers i think. thats what i remember, but could be a little off.
