Yea, it stinks! Enrique Wilson---WHO? Come on a slumping Soriano is better than 2 Enrique Wilsons.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Actually they are just giving him a day off because he was hit in the wrist last night by a pitch.

I really doubt they care about your team

His wrist? Not to argue but, I saw it last night and it definately looked like it hit his thumb. After he got hit, he took his glove off and the trainer taped up his thumb.
Mugrila- Did you see it? From what I saw, he didn't throw his hands at it. He took his step forward and did turn away from the pitch. He didn't turn fast enough, so it hit his hand. He still had his bat back when it hit him, he just wasn't fast enough. IMO the pitch was also too high for it to have hit him in the back anyway (this may not be true- just what I recall from the game).

Yes, I saw it. During the game tonight the announcers said that Soriano was getting the night off to rest his wrist after getting hit by a pitch.
Don't know exactly where he got hit and it doesn't really matter. I was just letting everyone know what the announcers said.

I understand that, but I find it somewhat confusing that the announcers would say it was his wrist, since I'm 99% sure it hit is thumb, judging by the play itself, Soriano's reaction and that the trainer was inspecting his thumb. Oh well
