Gagne back to DL likely

Seriously......I picked up Baez yesterday but Saito is on the WW. Let me know if this is the guy because someone will snag Saito soon if this is the case. Baez has done so well for them I can't see them leaving him out. Please give me the latest info. I too believe Gagne will be out for awhile, or will return just to be benched again.

I'd hedge my bets with Saito. Saito had overtaken Baez as the favorite for saves prior to Gagne coming off the DL, and he did nothing to get himself yanked from that role.

Damn, Gagne sounds like one optimistic dude. If his arm falls off, maybe there's a career in personel motivation for him?

I dropped Baez and picked up Saito. I hope he pans out. I am in drastic need of saves....last place in saves and still holding on to 4th place overall. If I get my saves up it will put close to top. Thanks for the info.

Eric Gagne (elbow) cut short his throwing session on Friday and could be bound for the disabled list.

Gagne, who is on the third day of a five-day cycle of anti-inflammatory medication, made just 10 short tosses before deciding to shut it down. He probably won't test the elbow again until Tuesday, and he could be on the DL by the time that happens. Takashi Saito is the current favorite for the saves in Los Angeles. Jun. 9 - 10:28 pm et
